Hellow. Welcome to my corner of the internet. I am Shayoni and I create hand-drawn illustrations inspired by nature, children, and all sorts of whimsical things.

I mostly play with watercolour, pen and ink on paper though I experiment with other media from time to time. My visual work helps to tell stories, depict information, and educate  people. 

I illustrate for children’s and YA books, magazines, sustainability-focussed brands, and educational institutions. If you are one of them, or have a whimsical project in mind, we should talk :) 

I love books, music, moths, mosses, and, of course, good food. I write and illustrate and crochet when I am not daydreaming or stargazing.
